Brilliant BBQ
On Thursday the 7th of July we had a school fund raising night for Birunda school in Kenya also we presented our leaving presents to Mr Dean. We had a BBQ and did some fun games with Mr Mulholland like nock the balls of the cone and speed jump while inside we had stalls with lots of fun things to take home, try again and taste. Lots of people came and raised £380.00 which Is really good. Everybody had a great time and enjoyed looking round the school. The burgers and sausages were really tasty I think almost everyone had one. Also we did some samba it sounded really good.
Super swimming
On the 17th of June 2016 Emilia, Jasmine, Ed and Elisabeth did the silver award in swimming we had to do 32 lengths without stopping. Everybody completed it and was tried and I couldn’t wait to get warm and dry at the end of the very long swim. Jasmine said she felt very tired at the end.
Colourful carnival floats
A couple of weeks ago we made some beautiful carnival floats, they had to be bright and bold with lots of different shapes, colours and sizes to make them stand out. Everybody in the juniors designed and made a pretty carnival float. All the carnival floats had a chosen theme but they were all types of animals that live in the amazing Amazon rainforest such as toucans, cheetahs, butterflies, chameleons and monkeys.
Super Miss Sanderson
Super Miss Sanderson is brilliant at teaching us. We do games on Kahoot, make arty things and do poems. We even make brooches -which is so fun. She is a second year student at Hull University Scarborough Campus and is training to be a teacher. She absolutely love dogs and puppies and adores graphs and tables in maths. She always smiles. She has two weeks left we are really sad we will miss Super Miss Sanderson so much!
Super Sumdog
Lately we have entered a Sumdog competition. You have to play lots of games and answer quick fire questions. We have all been playing games over the past week [14-18 of March] The competition finishes soon so I encourage you to play the fun games at home. You can play with school mates and see who is the best and teach your animal tricks and personalise your house. With the great range of games everyone can learn something new [you to adults]. At the minute we are 24th on the leader board which is a epic achievement because were only a little school and its national. So carry on playing and maybe we can win this thing so get on the computer and play.
