P Factor

November 10, 2016 by rosiegps

On Friday 7th of October the jouniors attended to the P Factor at the Milton rooms in Molton. The P Factor is like the X Factor but instead of singing people perform poems and act and we get to use costumes and instead of it going on for lots and lots of days it only lasts for one. Andy seed is a author and he writes poems, he is the person who created the P Factor like Simon Cowell created the X Factor. It was very good and we all in enjoyed it. Before everyone preformed 3 authors named Tabatha, Joe and Andy seed all went on stage and told us some poems and told us  different stratagies on how to write poems and what to do when you are nervous and are scared of going up on stage and preforming. some of the poems were about food, Some of them were about Alice in wonderland. The people who did the performance for Gillamoor were Jasmine, Elizabeth, Laura and Lewis.

Duncombe Park-the gardens

November 10, 2015 by rosiegps

The whole school went to Duncombe Park on the 5th of November for a school trip. At Duncombe Park we went to the gardens it was very silent, the only thing that you could hear was the rain dripping on the leafs and the birds tweeting calmly.

We walked to a temple that was old and crumbeling. At the temple was IMGA0913an amazing view, it was great. There was a flowing river at the bottom and a hill of orange and green trees making there way up. We also saw a pineapple house a pineapple house is where you grow pineapples. They did this becase they were very exspensive they use to give them to friend and family to display at parties.

Raising money for Birunda

July 9, 2015 by rosiegps

At school we have been raising money for a boys dormitory at Birunda School for the Hearing Impaired in Kenya. .As a school we have now raised £831, MrDean has now we have raised over £4000, the domitary costs £4000 and the bunk beds cost £50 each. We have been raising money by making bracelets and selling them in school and at stalls out of school. We have now got a small stall in school that sells necklaces, bracelets, monkey statues and keyrings. Any more money will be used to buy the bunk beds.

My limerick

January 9, 2015 by rosiegps

Once there was a girl called Candy.

She had a best friend called Mandy.

She had a pug called Prince,

But he didn’t like mince.

So she gave him a pint of shandy!
